--verify, -v
Part of the Command Reference.
asd --verify <name> [version]
asd -v <name> [version]
Re-downloads a component’s archive and compares its SHA-1 hash against the checksum recorded in the registry, to confirm an installed component is authentic and uncorrupted.
Arguments
name(required) — the package path to verify.version(optional) — a specific version; defaults to the first matching registry entry.
Examples
asd --verify ndk 27.0.12077973
asd -v platform-tools
Downloading archive to verify checksum ...
Registry checksum: 3a7f1e2c9b8d4f6a1e5c7b9d3f2a8e6c4b1d9f7a
Downloaded checksum: 3a7f1e2c9b8d4f6a1e5c7b9d3f2a8e6c4b1d9f7a
Checksum OK. Archive is authentic.
Because this re-downloads the full archive to hash it, it’s a heavier
operation than --fix — use it when you specifically
need to confirm integrity, not as routine maintenance.
Errors
Error: <name> is not installed at <path>
No checksum available in registry for <name>.
Error: Checksum mismatch! Archive may be corrupted or tampered with.
